Pantone Goe System

The Pantone Goe event at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore was a great collaboration between PGAMA, PCB, AIGA, AMA and AAB. It was well attended by many from the advertising, printing and paper industries.

Doris Brown, VP Marketing, Pantone, Inc. discussed color and its use in design and its meanings in cultures around the world. She introduced the new Pantone Goe system that makes available 2,058 colors. The guides and color names are newly organized for easy use. Their software allows you to upload the new color system into many software programs and assists designers in choosing color palettes and more.

A big PCB thank you to PGAMA for getting PCB together with the other groups in this effort to provide up-to-date industry news. Thanks to Jim Russell from Severn Graphics for his work in organizing this event and thanks to Severn Graphics, Xpedx and Braden Sutphin Ink for sponsoring this event.
